The 40-year-old finally baptized!

In the vernacular, it has been called the poma, the poma move and the Hodlekvet move. Dear child has many names.

But as of January 13, 2021, the new official name is Neumanntrekket!

For about 40 years, the legendary ski tow has done one of the most important jobs in Hodlekve, so it's only natural that it should be linked to the ski center's biggest partner, Neumann Kaupanger.

The ski lift that has been the most important factor in the development of the Sogndal Hodlekve ski destination is still going strong. All that remains is for the ski lift not to get a name.

- "Neumann Kaupanger has been Sogndal Skisenter's biggest partner for several years, so it's only natural that the good cooperation should grow even stronger. Because good friends are what you take care of. So we're happy to take the whole thing a step further - all we need is for a name as important to us as Neumann Kaupanger to be linked to the legendary ski resort. Then we have linked two monuments together. Something we are incredibly happy about," says Svein Olav Haugen at Sogndal Skisenter.

- Being visible, and being able to contribute locally to create something together with others for the local community and the region is important to us. The fact that we can be synonymous with positive development and healthy values is great. Our contribution to skiing and being part of the fun and the future of Sogndal Ski Center is something we want to do and something that comes naturally to us. We are here for the future, and so is Sogndal Ski Center," says Olve Aaberge, day-to-day manager at Neumann Kaupanger.
