Cross-country skiing

The trail starts opposite the SIL cabin, and is 5 kilometers long. You can use this for the whole day (turn on the light even if it is not on. The switch can be found on the lamppost by the parking lot at the SIL cabin).

If you put on a headlamp, you can do the same on the 10-kilometer trail.

We groom our trails every day (or as often as possible) when the snow is in place.

The best rods

It's easy to strap on your skis right outside your cabin or car door when you're in Sogndal Skisenter.

The ski center's cross-country trails are conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of several of the rental cabins and parking spaces.

Even though you're in the mountains, the trails are located in a terrain that is protected from strong winds, and the mountain birch also takes hold and does a job to ensure that you can walk in peace without too much wind.

It's mostly so you can hear the mountain birch cheering you on when you come whizzing along at either a good pace or a leisurely pace.

Our trails are located in terrain that is easy to move around in. You don't need to be a world champion to benefit from the cross-country trails in Hodlekve. There are many people who have had their first Nordic skiing experience here in the forest. Not just in the last 50 years, but also all the way back to the time when the Birkebeinarane lived here.

It's time to let your thoughts flow when you're skiing with us, we want you to have a good time.

Support the grooming of ski slopes

The ski center spends a lot of time and resources to create good trails. It is desirable that users provide voluntary support for the preparation of our trails. A suitable amount could be NOK 100 for one day, and NOK 1,000 for those who use the trails regularly. Of course, you decide the amount yourself, all contributions count.
