Mountain and hiking trails
Your hiking adventure starts from the parking lot in Rindabotn. Here you can get high up in the mountains. We groom the trail to Høgehaug every weekend (finished around 12 noon), depending on the weather. The trail to Fjærlandsete is announced on Facebook.

Høgehaug, Faggregje, Fjærlanssete or Sumhaug?
Far ahead, high up there, lies Høgehaug. "E6" is a popular hiking trail that takes you out into the magical winter world.
After one and a half kilometers, where tussocks, trolls and even some ptarmigans sneak up on you from their fun spot behind a crooked mountain birch, you reach the dirt mountain.
On a gentle uphill slope, over flat snow-covered moorland, you reach the tree line at Ryssete. Here you can choose whether to go over Haugane or up Stilledalen to Høgehaug.
Or maybe the weather is good and the visibility is good, you have more time, and the tractor has groomed the trail up towards Kollsetevatnet further away from Faggregje, Fjærlanssete and Sumhaug?
The ultimate mountain skiing in "tram tracks", that's when it's worth living. Since Kittelsen has not painted this landscape, you have to seek it out yourself, you will not regret it. We call it magic.
"E6" they call it. Our most used hiking trail. The one that stretches up to Høgehaug.
Just over four kilometers each way, it is an acceptable hiking trail that suits most people.
Sogndøl residents often walk this route after work in winter and spring. Others use headlights and walk even later. "Maonaskinstur" is not to be sneezed at either. Easy up and easy down, Høgehaug is waiting for you.
At the viewpoint at Høgehaug (980 m) you can make a return trip on gentle downhill slopes, or you can take the loop around Sumhaug and Fjærlandsete over Fagreggje and back. The opposite of the route over Kolslsetevatnet.
This gives you a total of 2.7 miles of wonderful hiking under your skis. You move like a postcard up here.
A lot of variation in the landscape, a lot of hiking. Just come and see for yourself.

Support the grooming of ski slopes
The ski center spends a lot of time and resources to create good trails. It is desirable that users provide voluntary support for the preparation of our trails. A suitable amount could be NOK 100 for one day, and NOK 1,000 for those who use the trails regularly. Of course, you decide the amount yourself, all contributions count.
