Ski bus on Saturday and Sunday

There is a ski bus from the city center to the ski center every Saturday and Sunday.

The timetable is simple: Departure from Helgheim (Sogndal Folkehøgskule) at 09:55, the bus station at 10:00, Elvatunet at 10:02 and Ingafossen at 10:05 to Rindabotn. Return from Rindabotn at 16:00 with Helgheim as the last stop.

The ticket price is NOK 20 each way, and we hope that many people will take advantage of this offer. There is a long tradition of ski buses to and from Sogndal Ski Center, but in recent years there have been fewer and fewer passengers - so few, in fact, that the ski buses have been running in the red and had to be parked.

Last fall, students at Sogndal Folk High School took the initiative to get the ski bus back in place. Of course, we greatly appreciate this, and hope that as many people as possible will take advantage of this environmentally friendly and social measure.

The hope is, of course, that the service will be used so much that we get the ski bus back as a regular service. It now runs every Saturday and Sunday until Easter. Have a good bus ride!

PS! The ski bus should not be confused with Laussnøekspressen (pictured). The latter leaves from Selseng and picks up skiers along Route 5 on days when we think there is reason to sound the avalanche alarm.
