New low-threshold family trail

We want even more people to take part in skiing.

That's why we've expanded the offerings at Sogndal Skisenter, with a low-threshold family ski trail, adapted for newcomers and the little ones.

From the top of Holentrekket, you can now get down to the bottom without it being too steep.

With an average slope of 10%, the steepness should be manageable for most people. A natural step to take from child's reach.

But it's also a great trail for anyone who just wants to cruise down at a leisurely pace. And yes, you can see Hurrungane from the top there, so we can finally show off our mountains in a better way to even more people.

The trail is about 3 kilometers long and has an approximate width of 12 meters. This means that even more people can experience the good skiing and not least the great views in the high mountains.

The job was carried out by Agledal Maskin from Voss, and now everything is ready for the snow.

- Agledal Maskin has done a fantastic job. These are old hands who have built many roads and trails in the surrounding mountains. This trail is an important and right step for us at Sogndal Ski Center, as part of our efforts to become a much more family-friendly facility," says Operations Manager Kim Andre Navarsete.

Next year, and in summer and autumn, the trail will be used as a hiking and biking trail, it has never been easier to get high into the mountains in Sogndalsdalen.

We hope you enjoy it, feel free to invite those who previously thought it was too steep.

Welcome and have a good trip!
