Dog sledding at Høgehaug. It's absolutely indoors. Just give it a try!

Are you in Alaska, Canada, Finnmark or Greenland? Nope, this is 40 minutes from Hodlekve.

Dog sledding is fun, educational and exciting, and you get to experience nature in a whole new way.

Get in touch via fjordhusky.com or via Fjordhusky's Facebook page for booking.

The tours go from the back of Dalalåven up to Høgehaug and back. There will also be time to take pictures and cuddle and pet the world's cutest dogs.

Now you have the opportunity to experience great sleigh rides in the mountains, either towards Høgehaug or over Fagreggje and Fjærlandsete.

This is an experience that suits most people.

A master soars through the mountain landscape at a suitable pace in the sled behind the dog team. Are you or do you know someone who is physically challenged, old or young, but loves and misses the mountains?

Then a dog sledding trip is the absolute perfect thing to do.

Dog sledding is safe and comfortable.

Children up to the age of four can ride, even with adults. There is room for two per sled, possibly two adults and one small child. If the children are under 4 years old, assessments must be made depending on the weather and conditions, as it can be too cold for the little ones. Get in touch and Fjordhusky will make an assessment.

Together with dog handler Kenzo, the dogs are highly trained and have a lot of experience from thousands of hours in the mountains. It's not dangerous and the dogs love people, they appreciate being cuddled. But most of all, they love to run in packs. And they also love being photographed with you!

This is a great way for parents and children to get up to Høgehaug together.
