Great care must also be taken on the main road, the bus only stops at the bus pockets. 

If you need to get to the bus shelters once you've come down through the woods, you have to walk up on the plowed edges and get off the main road. There is an 80 km zone along the entire stretch, and it's slippery in winter! So under no circumstances should you go out onto the main road!
