After two years of involuntary hiatus, we can finally welcome the 5th anniversary of "Furberg Banked Slalom"! The competition will traditionally be held in Sogndal Skisenter - Hodlekve. Save Saturday, April 23, 2022 to join this year's event! There will be a great atmosphere in Hodlekve this day, with Big Jump, Pond Skim and snow volleyball as well.
We believe that the Norwegian snowboard community needs a fun, low-threshold event that everyone can participate in. An event for all riders, regardless of background, experience, age and style. The course is, of course, hand dug by the local gang of snowboarders in the weeks before the event, and the course varies from year to year to make it extra interesting.
Slushy spring snow, great music at the resort, live announcers and big smiles are the ingredients for the best atmosphere and the most fun event of the season. We also encourage skiers to get their boards out and sign up!
Program:
Fredag 22. April - Gjennomkjøring og løypetesting i Sogndal Skisenter Hodlekve. Heisene går fra kl 10:00-16:00.
Saturday April 23 - Competition day. The Rindabotn lift in Sogndal Skisenter opens at 10:00. You can register at the bottom of the lift to get your start number and there will be sales of "FBS 22" t-shirts. Run-through and testing of the course will be possible from 10:00 - 11:00. The competition starts at 11:00 and is finished when everyone has had two attempts each. The competition usually lasts 3-4 hours. The ski center will be open an extra hour this day, until 17:00!
In the evening there will be a "Furberg Banquet Slalom" with prize giving and video from the day. There will be further information about this.
Form of competition:
Each participant will have two attempts, and the best will be counted. The fastest woman and the fastest man will be awarded a trophy and a Furberg board.

Be sure to check off Saturday April 23rd 2022, to join the event of the year! The course is hand made by the local shredders in the weeks before the event, and the course will differ every year to keep it interesting.

Friday April 22th - Course inspection and practice day at Sogndal Skisenter Hodlekve. Lifts will be open from 10 am. to 16 pm.
