Formidable volunteer effort

The black trail, a favorite of young and old alike, has been given a major overhaul this autumn.

Dedicated girls and boys with chainsaws have cut down most of the small woods to make the steepest slope in our facility easier to prep, and more fun for those with skis under their feet.

 A solid effort has also been made on the west side of the Holen run, known as ski right, to give us better skiing experiences this coming winter. Here, too, the volunteers have cleared away small forests, but there are still plenty of gates in the form of mature mountain birches.
