– Finally. This is a milestone for us. With a new low-threshold bike path centrally located in the facility, we are really getting started with what is a year-round destination in Sogndal Ski Center.

This is stated by the CEO of Sogndal Ski Center Per Odd Grevsnes. On Sunday, August 18, the Nordbohus bike park was officially opened by Mayor Jarle Aarvoll. The 1.2 kilometer long circular trail is a low-threshold cycling facility that is easily accessible and centrally located in Rindabotn.

Good start
Sogndal Ski Center's goal is to develop further. Not necessarily to become the biggest. But rather to be good at what we have. Preferably develop the area to a scale that is sustainable enough for the area to be able to offer activities throughout the year.

–You can see it as a prepared recreation area. A prepared area that prioritizes public health, creates healthy values. Prioritizes skiing and makes it easier for more people to take part in outdoor activities and activities all year round. We achieve this by being able to offer more universally designed offerings on different scales. For example, a bike path that we have now put in place. This is just the start, explains Grevsnes.
