Summer at Sogndal Skisenter

We are no longer just a ski resort that packs up when the snow flies and opens up again when the snow arrives in the autumn. We've developed into a year-round resort with activities available all year round.

As we enter the beginning of May 2023, there's still a lot of snow to enjoy in our facility, but now you have to use your own strength to get up there.

Those of us who work in the plant are hard at work dismantling the elevator system, servicing and maintaining machinery - and preparing for the summer season here in Hodlekve.

When the schools close their doors and pupils and students take their summer holidays, we'll be opening up Dalalåven and will be offering the best summer activity program ever here with us. At the time of writing, we don't know the exact date of opening, nor the exact activity program - but we promise that you will find a little bit of everything to choose from.

In recent years, we have invested heavily in facilitating hiking and cycling activities based on Dalalåven. We have created and marked trails, and we have built a great pump track close by Dalalåven.

We're incredibly lucky here at Sogndal Ski Center. In winter we are served large amounts of the best snow in the world, and in summer we have natural qualities that tourists come from far and wide to experience. Beautiful mountains for hiking, a series of mountain lakes where you can fish for trout, and a valley with working farms. Yes, at Anestølen there is even a working farm.

Sogndalsdalen is a living gem, offering wild, beautiful and well-kept nature - and a short distance to the Sognefjord. You'll find us, Sogndal Skisenter, in the middle of this beautiful nature.
